Eurowings Flight Schedule 2026/2027: New Routes From Five German Airports

Airlines plan in two halves, and the Eurowings flight schedule 2026/27 follows the same rhythm. The winter schedule runs from late October to late March, and new routes almost always appear right at that seam.

So why Jerez and Alicante, which are sun destinations, in winter? According to aviation.direct, the decision rests on passenger numbers from the preceding summer months. Routes that sold well in summer simply get carried forward. No grand strategy, just booking data.

Klagenfurt is the odd one out. As reisetopia reports, Cologne/Bonn to Klagenfurt becomes a year-round Eurowings route at roughly two flights a week. So it isn't a seasonal ski shuttle. It just happens to start in the winter window.

aeroTELEGRAPH reports that Eurowings is stationing two more aircraft in Berlin, taking the base to 11 aircraft and more than 300 crew at BER.

Growth isn't happening everywhere, though. In the same update, meilenoptimieren.com notes that Eurowings is pulling its stationed aircraft out of Graz entirely and cutting Prague back to a single aircraft. Both cities keep year-round service, they just lose the base. The airline calls it network optimisation. I'd honestly call it reallocation toward Germany.

A new route is nice. At the gate only what you're carrying counts, and these four destinations could hardly be less alike.

Jerez and Alicante: Lighter Than You'd Assume

From Berlin and Hamburg you'll land directly at Jerez airport (XRY), and Hannover gets you to Alicante. Sounds like a beach trip, but it's November: you don't need a fortnight of beachwear, more like one or two light layers and shoes that still make sense at 16 degrees. Five Airports, One Pile of Documents

Boarding pass, passport, rental car voucher. Cairo adds the visa on top. A document wallet feels like a silly purchase right up to the moment you're changing planes.

Check two things: your fare and your dimensions. BASIC is cheap because it includes very little, and a bag added later tends to eat the saving.
