Wizz Air Winter Schedule 2026/2027: What's New at Dortmund, Berlin and Nuremberg

As of 10 October 2026, subject to change. The City of Dortmund, 17 March 2026 still had Milan down for 25 October, so these dates do move. Check wizzair.com before you book.

Rome-Fiumicino is the real newcomer. It runs daily from 25 October 2026, according to Wizz Air's press release of 19 March 2026.

Italy before then? Already covered. Milan-Malpensa had its first flight on 1 October 2026 and now runs daily (City of Dortmund, 5 October 2026). Palermo has flown since 8 September 2026 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (aviation.direct, 10 September 2026).

From 26 October 2026 you can fly direct from BER to Lithuania, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (BER, 13 July 2026). Sarajevo follows on 3 December 2026, Thursdays and Sundays; the airport's release of 18 August 2026 says a third weekly flight comes in summer 2027.

Sofia isn't winter news anymore. It's been flying four times a week since 20 September 2026, and with the winter schedule Wizz Air reaches 18 routes from BER (BER, 21 September 2026). More on the BER expansion with Eurowings and Wizz Air.

Târgu Mureș in Transylvania starts on 20 December 2026, on Wednesdays and Sundays (aeroTELEGRAPH, 31 August 2026). Timișoara ends in late September, according to aviation.direct of 1 September 2026. Brașov is only paused: AeroRoutes reported on 21 August 2026 that it returns on 26 October 2026 with two flights a week, though that date rests on this one source.

If you've already booked something from Nuremberg to Romania, check that the route is still on the schedule: one is gone, one is paused, and only one is actually new.

One socket, several devices

Romania, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Italy use sockets that take German plugs in most cases, so you usually won't need a travel adapter. We have no information on Bosnia and Herzegovina. A neck pillow for early departures

A neck pillow on a short European hop is a matter of taste. If you nod off on early departures anyway, something like the Samsonite TA Revolution Memory-Foam-Nackenkissen is worth packing, as long as your fare leaves room for it.
